MondoFragile-form

Hi everybody.
Today I am going to write about a new Italian brand: MONDOFRAGILE.
The creator of this brand is Silvia Pelliccia. Silvia has worked for many years in the fashion environment ( Diesel and Patrizia Pepe). From this experience and her passion for art she decided to create her own label.
The main feature of MONDOFRAGILE is to use unique fabrics produced with the printings of paintings or art works of artists selected personally from Silvia.
Usually the shapes of the clothes are simple and linear in order to underline the effect of the printing itself.
Silvia is inspired by the world around her. All that comes up suddenly, as a real artist.
She would like to collaborate with new artists so she can give life to their works and she can also promote their art.

The concept behind the brand is to see your wardrobe becoming a piece of art.
The name MondoFragile ( in English can be translated as "Fragile World") was chosen  because for Silvia to be fragile means to be true, to be sincerely sweet.
In this case we see a fragile world, it is precious also because of all our frailty.

If you are interested to buy Mondofragile clothes, you can visit www.mistakeproject.com, a website promoting all labels that decided to work with quality, research for details. Designers  who decide to create in a different way even if they were told during their career they were making mistakes.

DIY-form

Dear world,

How are you doing? Hope everything is perfect or almost perfect.
Here in Amsterdam life is great. Autumn landscapes are everywhere: Yellow and red leaves on the streets and I love it ( If I don't consider the temperature... ).
Recently I discovered few blogs that gave me a lot of inputs to create, create and create without spending a lot of money. I am officially a fan of DIY blogs, articles, video that suggest how to make your own bracelet, necklace, cheap clutch etc etc.
If you live in Amsterdam you should know that in de Pijp ( one of the most trendy and cool areas of the Dutch capital) there is the most touristic market: Albert Cuyp market. In the same crowded street you can find a simple paradise: JAN.

Jan is an haberdashery and they have everything!!!!! you can find a huge collection of buttons of all  shapes, colors, materials, patterns. I don't want to make a long list of all the kind of materials you can find, but just think about something and if you go there, you can find it 100 %.
I am focusing on making bracelets at the moment and I have 2 favorite websites you absolutely need to check:

Have a look at their website and you will find a lot of inspiration, colors, trends and easy ideas to change your wardrobe and make it modern!
I post some of my latest creations and I hope you will enjoy.

See you soon, tot ziens!

Red accessories-form

Hi guys,
How are you?
I am fine. I just came back from my holiday: Rome ( my hometown) , Abu Dhabi and Dubai. I love the Emirates and I was inspired by many different things.
Today I want to talk about one of my best friends: Federica. She is Italian, she lives in Milan and she likes fashion as much as I do. We share a lot of passions and we always support each other especially if it is about creativity.
We met in Rome and we took some pictures. I decided to demonstrate how every person, even with similar taste, can match clothes and accessories in different ways.
I used Federica's bag and shoes and we played a bit with them.
Hope you enjoy!
Give us some tips if you like to!

Shoes: Bata
My outfit: H&M

Brandy Melville form

Did you know that Brandy Melville is finally in Amsterdam?
This is an Italian brand I know since I was a teenager. I spent my Saturday afternoons with my girlfriends going to the store and trying on clothes: I always loved this shop.
The prices are affordable and it is really my style. You can find large size shirts and simple but fashionable models.
The inspiration of the collections comes from L.A celebrities and you can find a wall of fame of pictures in all the Brandy Melville stores.
In Amsterdam, you have the possibility to organize private parties with your friends and you will be offered Polaroid pictures, champagne, pizza and a dj. You can personalize the event with the help of the staff. They are all really nice and I love the atmosphere when you enter the shop.
Please visit the website and you can discover a new world. I am sure you will love it!

The Darling-form

Today I would like to show you one of my favourite shops in Amsterdam: The Darling

I like it because of the configuration of the space and the vintage style that you can breathe everywhere.

When you enter this sweet store, you will find on the ground floor a great combination of clothes, accessories and jewelery. The jewelery is designed by the owner of the store, Nadine.

If you want to enjoy a coffee or a cupcake, then you can climb the stairs and you can find yourself in a vintage cozy place where you can seat and observe a lot of small details . The choices of forniture and decoration are really well made!

The Darling organizes also Home Theather nights, where you can enjoy a live show in the shop and you will have the pleasure to eat cupcakes and drink some coffee or thea or a flut of prosecco. If you are in Amsterdam please join the Darling staff this coming Thrusday at 20.00!

Check the website or the facebook page to see more details about the store and the future events: http://www.thedarling.nl/
